Lisa Hopkins
- Well done on the web site. My family and I have been caravaners at Port
Eynon for the past ten years and have witnesed the effects of the dredging
on the sand. All of our friends are in no doubt as to the detrimental
effect being caused and support the anti-dredging campaign wholeheartedly.
Why should greedy businessmen be allowed to make money on the back of
our area of outstanding natural beauty. We have to put a stop to it before
it is too late. From Lisa Hopkins and family.
Paul Finch - It has made a difference to
the features of the gower beaches,to their detriment,no matter what the
dredgeing company say.it must stop.
Steven Wood - Don't let them take our sand,
we can't let it happen, if they keep on taking our sand we will have more
litter than sand on our beaches.
I A Preece - I think that it's shocking to
grant a licence for further sand removal. The licence should be revoked
NOW! as a resident born & raised, it breaks my heart to see the once golden
sands of Swansea and Gower reduced to nothing. Don't let them take the
jewel out of our crown, it is not for sale.
Caroline Palmer - Like many others in this
area, I have noticed the erosian of our beautiful golden sand, which is
an enormous asset to this area. Please do everything you can to stop the
dredging.
Ian Pritchard - Yet another example of Wales'
natural resources being raped for the benefit of those outside of Wales
with blatant disregard for the environment, the people of wales and the
generations to come. The British (New Labour)Government has proved yet
again it is no better than its' TORY predecessor. If the Welsh assembly
allows this environmental vandalism to continue IT has no right to continue,
the Assembly has failed to deliver thus far its about time it sat up and
listened to the electorate for once. Save Our Sands!
